Rater Setup

When Elephant shows on your panel of rates, you will bridge over to our quote journey to answer a few additional questions and can bind the policy. When you transfer over your agent ID will credential behind the scenes in the transfer process. No need to create or remember any passwords for this.

If Elephant does not return a rate, this is due to them not qualifying for a quote at this time. This can be based on a number of reasons including zip code.

EZ Lynx

• If you are using EZ Lynx, your agent number is your email address and there is no password. 
• You must also select yes for the question, "Does the agent want the applicant email to bridge to all carrier sites?"

1. Add carrier in EZlynx.

   

   

2. Add your email address as your username.

   

3. Under the Carrier Questions tab in the Carrier Quoting Setup, enter your email address as your Agent Number.

   

4. Open up a quote.

5. On the Rating page, make sure that Elephant is selected.

   

6. On the Policy Info page, select "yes" to bridge to all carrier sites.

   

7. On the Carrier Questions page, use your email address for agent number. If "Email Address" shows here, it is for the customer's email. You may have to unselect Hide Prefilled Answers to view these spaces.

   

ITC/Turbo Rater

Before you start: you need two values from your Elephant appointment email:

• Producer Code (for example, IAA9999)
• Rating User Name (always an email address)

You also need Admin access in ITC TurboRater to reach Edit companies.

1. Open Admin settings. In the left menu, click Admin settings near the bottom.

   

2. Click Edit companies.

   

3. Set Product to All States. Use the Product dropdown at the top of the carrier list.

   

4. Find Elephant and click Edit Info. Scroll the alphabetical carrier list to Elephant, then click Edit Info on that row.

   

5. Enter your credentials. Type your Producer Code and Rating User Name from the Elephant email into those two boxes.

   

6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
